Carol- I know what you mean everyone wants this here too. Even my dogs are hooked on it if I drop a piece they are right there staring at me.
You look like you did a good job though. I do not like having to much of the carmel on it so I just use more chips. Some people I make it for likes it stronger in the sweet than salty so I make it lighter for them. Some even like it darker so I cook it a bit more. I sell so much of it when I post it online I have to do it for a couple days.

Practice, practice, practice!!! My family said they won't mind if I keep practicing.. lol. It was actually my first time using a candy thermometer.

I did separate them into small bites of 1-3 chips. I guess in the bowl you can't tell. Next time I'll have to spread the brittle a little more, it hardened very quickly. My family enjoyed the snack.
Thanks again. :)

Thank you all I am glad you are trying it. I try to use enough chips to make the brittle part not overwhelm them. Then I break them up quickly so they are 1-3 chips separated. Were you able to do that Carol? I am so glad you like it.Other than my Choc Taco's this is my favorite recipe.
